Ian Grimes has worked on Morgans as well as other historic and collectable cars for over 30 years. In 1988 he joined Rob Wells at Libra Motive (former main Morgan agents in North London) and worked there until 2004 when the business closed. From there Ian went to Brands Hatch Morgans at Borough Green in Kent for 18 months.
Ian has extensive experience supporting cars on track. After his time at BHM he moved to Beechdean Motorsport where he ran a BMW in the first Britcar 24 Hour race at Silverstone and subsequently a Ferrari 360 in British GT for two years. He then joined Rob Wells at Lewis Racing where he worked on a wide selection of classic cars and Morgans.
Track and Classic currently support several classic race cars at international and prestige events and carry out repairs, rebuilds and restoration work.
Ian can make his considerable and varied experience available to owners of road and competition Morgans and other classic cars in his well-equipped specialist workshop.
His meticulous approach and attention to detail are renowned throughout the Morgan and classic car community.
